About the Role
Morley College is seeking a motivated and experienced ICT trainer to teach on our HTQ courses, with experience in any of the following cybersecurity and network management, cloud computing and virtualisation, software development and programming languages, data analytics and database management, IT project management and agile methodologies, and emerging technologies, such as AI and IoT. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, developing course materials, assessing student performance, and providing pastoral support in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
The role will initially involve teaching IT Business units from the HND in Leadership & Management L5 (HTQ) via distance learning utilising the college’s MS Teams platform. There may be further opportunities for the post holder to deliver on other IT courses in the future such as Access, BTECs and T-Levels.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in ICT, will have recent industry practice and be an experienced educator and professional with the ability to deliver a range of business IT topics. They should have an excellent knowledge of contemporary business IT systems, data analytics and insights. They will have a track record in delivering innovative and creative teaching sessions and process an up-to-date knowledge with an in-depth understanding of emerging digital technologies and data management.
