Morley College London’s New Year celebration: A night of reflection, connection, and future plans

Last Thursday, Morley College London hosted our annual New Year’s drinks,  playing host to over 100 key Morley funders, partners and other members of the ‘Morley family’.

The night was filled with connections, reflection on 2024,  and shaping our future plans. A night to remember which included a Flamenco dance performance, speeches and a video celebrating Morley in 2024.

‘Let’s Dance’ Campaign

Angela Rippon, broadcaster and journalist, attended the event to speak to colleagues about her upcoming launch of the ‘let’s Dance’ campaign. The campaign aims to raise awareness for all things dance and how it can elevate your mental and physical health. Stay tuned for more information about Morley’s involvement in the campaign.

Looking to the future 

Following on our look back on 2024, there were moments of excitement looking into the year ahead. These include: 

  • The launch of Morley’s higher education offer – A step forward in expanding educational opportunities for our students.
  • The Waterloo Centre refurbishment project –  starting next week, the 2025 refurbishment of the Waterloo Centre, including renovation of the iconic Emma Cons Hall.
  • Strategic Planning for the next five years – Morley College London will work be working with its partners to develop its next 5 year plan, focusing on educational excellence for all, innovation, inclusivity, and community engagement.
