Celebrating Disability Awareness at Morley
…
The Book Club was created in partnership with the Marketing Team and Chelsea Centre’s librarian, Estefan Ayim.
Estefan said: “During this pandemic period, we’re all looking for some distractions and a Book club is perfect opportunity for us to come together, rediscover our love for books and unite/interact with other book club members.
The club aims to meet once a week. We’ll ask discussion questions, share our opinions, gush and rant about our favourite and least favourite characters, make plot predictions and generally drop in random thoughts as we read together, as well as having fun with games and quizzes.
Each month we will be announcing the book for the month on At Home with Morley, which is voted for by our Book Club community.
We encourage the wider Morley community to get involved by reading along with us, and even sharing your thoughts of the book. Make sure you use #MorleyBookClub if you are planning take part – so please share your pictures, thoughts and feelings with us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
We are excited to announce that we have launched Morley Book Club, a staff initiative to keep our community connected during this time through the joy of reading.
