Morley College London has announced the appointment of Susan Bonett as the new Principal and Chief Executive, effective from summer 2025.

Currently the Principal of Ashford College – part of the outstanding EKC Group – Susan joins Morley with over a decade of experience leading colleges on a journey to be the best they can be, preceded by a twenty-year career in international commercial film and media production.

Commenting on her appointment, Susan said: “Morley has a proud history and a unique place in the educational landscape; its ethos and core values resonate deeply with my own.

“I look forward to building on the College’s many achievements, deepening connections in our business sectors and communities, and working closely with staff, governors and partners.

“Together we will realise an innovative and ambitious vision for the College: as a force for good, an inclusive place of learning for generations to come, and as a beacon institution at the heart of the communities it serves.”

Leisha Fullick, Chair of the Governing Body of Morley College London, who chaired the Vice-Chancellor recruitment panel, said: “On behalf of the Governing Body, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Susan as our new Principal and Chief Executive. Susan will join the College in Summer 2025.

“We were privileged to meet a strong field of candidates, and we are confident we have found a leader who shares our deep commitment to Morley’s mission to inspire individuals and strengthen communities through lifelong learning.

“We look forward to working together to shape the next chapter of Morley’s remarkable story.”

A start date for Susan will be announced in due course, with current Chief Finance Officer Ralph Moran providing cover as Interim Principal and CEO until Susan starts in role.
