Make a Festive Stocking Taster

Using a variety of hand and machine sewing techniques you will decorate a cotton stocking which you can take home and keep. This taster is suitable for all skill levels, although some understanding of either hand or machine stitch is helpful.

Please bring with you a small sewing kit which contains needles, thread (festive colours), fabric scissors, small fabric/embroidery scissors (snips). You may also choose to bring a few scraps of recycled festive fabric or old garments (eg tartan/printed shirts, felted wool jumpers etc) to make you embellishments more sustainable, although fabric will otherwise be provided.
