Jazz Concert, workshop and Q&A with Joris Teepe

Join us on Friday, October 4th at Morley College’s Emma Cons Hall for a special evening with renowned bassist Joris Teepe, accompanied by Flavio Li Vigni on drums and Josephine Davies on saxophone. The event is £5.00 and offers a unique blend of live performance and insight into Joris’s vast experience as a rhythm section player.

Hailing from the Netherlands, Joris moved to New York in 1992, where he studied under Ron Carter and played with jazz legends such as Benny Golson, Sonny Fortune, and Randy Brecker. With over 22 albums as a leader and a storied career that includes a long-term collaboration with Rashied Ali, Joris Teepe will share not only his music but also personal stories from his time working with some of jazz’s greats.
