What you will learn

A drama course for Entry 2 and 3 students to develop your confidence in communicating. The course will focus on both verbal and non-verbal communication. You will be supported in a safe and playful environment to develop your skills. Through games and drama exercises you will develop your speaking and listening skills. The course will finish with an informal performance sharing for your family and friends. No previous drama experience is necessary. On completing this course you will gain an OCNLR Entry Level 3 Award in Progression. This course will be FREE if you are in receipt of benefits. Please speak to your tutor or come into the College to speak to our Enrolments team to sign up.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Feel more confident in speaking and listening
  • Confidently express yourself not just through words, but also through facial expressions and body language
  • Know more about performance skills
  • Be able to take a role in preparing for a performance
  • Be able to perform for an audience

On successful completion of the course, you will achieve the following qualification: Extended Award in Progression (Entry 3) [OCNLR]
