Learning through practical activities (individual tasks, role-plays, pair and small group work, games) Writing basic single words and short sentences, e.g. gap-filling, grammar exercises. Listening for the gist or basic information. Revising on topics (e.g. vocabulary) and grammar points. All this will be supported by a learning platform available for extra practice, downloading materials before the lessons and submitting homework. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course, you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals.

This course is aimed at complete beginners. Good attendance and punctuality is required from all students. This is a very intensive course that covers in just 6 hours the whole Spanish 1, unit 1. This course requires study/completion of activities activities outside of class time, from 1 hour to 2 after each session.
What you need to know before you enrol
This is an intensive course that covers Spanish 1, unit 1 in just 6 hours. It will give you the basic knowledge and skills to then join Spanish 1, unit 2 in January. Good attendance and punctuality are required from all students. This course requires study/completion of activities outside of class time (1-2 hours/weekly)
What you need
You will need pen and a notebook for the weekly lessons at the college. You will also need home connection to Internet and a device to use at home. Access to Morley Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) during the two weeks of the course. In here you will find class and supplementary material for each lesson.
