This course is suitable for those with at least a year’s experience of playing recorder.
You will need to be willing and able to do short, regular practice sessions between classes: at least 15-20 minutes, at least 4 times a week. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals. Excellent attendance and punctuality is required from all students. This course requires study/completion of activities outside of class time.
Your recorders, pencil and eraser, notebook., Music: Recorder Anthology 2 and Recorder Scales and Arpeggios published by Trinity College of Music; The Recorder Consort book 2 and 4 by Steve Rosenberg., Other materials will be supplied by the tutor., You may wish to bring a device to record parts of the lesson.
