This course is ideal for those who have completed Prodcast Production 1 or those looking to refine their podcasting abilities in a structured environment. You'll not only learn fundamental techniques but also incorporate guest interviews and location recordings to elevate your content. Discover how these elements can enhance your storytelling and engage your audience more effectively, providing you with the tools needed to create high-quality podcasts.
There will be lectures with recorded illustrations, demonstrations, practical work, handouts and discussions.
Completion of Podcast Production 1, or similar course or evidence of equivalent experience. Familiarity with a Digital Audio Workstation or DAW (e.g. Audition, Audacity, Logic, ProTools, or similar) is desirable but not essential.
There will be a certain amount of work outside the class. Due to the nature of the content of the course you might be exposed to high volume levels. We strongly encourage everyone to bring a pair of ear plugs to every lesson.
