This course offers a gentle Pilates based approach to building strength and mobility for the activities of daily life. The first hour of lessons focuses on developing postural core strength of the back and abdomen, in addition to strengthening the muscles of the hips, legs, and shoulders. This is followed by thirty minutes of targeted stretching and mobilisation for stiff hips, hamstrings, shoulders and the spine help to open up muscles and release joints. Throughout each lesson exercise options and adaptations suitable to all levels of ability will be offered by the tutor.
