Everyone knows that starting a new course of study can be challenging, so this short, Get Ready add-on to your main course is designed to take the stress out of your learning journey at Morley College. You will be introduced to some basic skills and knowledge that will smooth your way into understanding your course, the College and its systems. At the end of the two weeks, you will be better prepared to make the most of your learning whilst taking another step towards achieving your goals.
You will work on developing some key functional skills in English, maths and IT that will support your learning. You will learn through tutor instruction, discussion, group and independent work. Achievement will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets.
All new students will be invited to take an initial assessment before they can enrol.
Excellent attendance and punctuality is required from all students. Before enrolling, it's important to consider the following steps and factors: 1.
