In this course, you will learn to understand and follow simple instructions, use basic vocabulary and phrases for everyday conversations, build practical English vocabulary for common interactions, and practice listening and speaking skills to communicate confidently in daily life.
Classes will feature interactive lessons, group activities, practical exercises, multimedia resources, and personalized feedback to help you build and apply essential English language skills.
You will take an initial assessment. This course is designed for adult learners with little to no prior knowledge of English. No formal qualifications are required, but a willingness to participate and engage in class activities is essential with attendance expected to be 90%.
Course Fees: Variable rates are available. You may be able to do the course for FREE depending on your personal circumstances. Guided Learning Hours: 72 Class time : 6 hours per week Independent study: A minimum of 4 hours per week, including regular practice of what you learn in class and completing any homework. Attendance and Punctuality: Making good progress on the course will depend on regular attendance and punctuality. A minimum of 90% attendance is required from students at Morley College.
You will need writing materials (a pen, some lined paper) and a file to keep your work in. You may also need to buy a course book.
