There are other versions of this course available. We’ve listed them below and summarized the differences between the one that you are currently viewing.
These Introduction to Printmaking (Mon-pm) courses are based at Morley College London Chelsea Centre. You will explore a range of exciting intaglio print techniques for transferring an image into print m››edia for stunning and dynamic results. These courses are designed as part of a year’s programme but can also be taken individually and are a combination of structured teaching and informal workshop time. Printmaking techniques such as Monoprint, Drypoint, Etching, Linocut, Collagraph, etc. will be covered throughout the year as not all techniques can be delivered during each individual course.
You will learn to work in the light and well-equipped studio with specialist facilities. Each printmaking technique is taught by demonstration, one-to-one, feedback and group tutorials, encouraging each student’s personal strengths and interests. Final prints can be submitted for our Exhibition in July when we enjoy a lively Private View to celebrate the work created during the year on all our courses.
These classes are aimed at beginners, those who wish to re-fresh their printmaking skills and those who have a basic arts experience in any other visual arts discipline.
The Printmaking Studio is at the Morley Chelsea Centre, Hortensia Road SW10, just off the Kings Road and Fulham Road, in the Carlyle building, room CG05 on the ground floor.
