What you will learn

This one day introduction to medical terminology will provide a basic overview of the correct construction, recognition and usage of medical terminology. Learn how medical terms are built, and how to recognise some key medical terms from their definitions. Ideal for those with no previous knowledge of the subject, and who are keen to pursue further study in the health and clinical professions.

This course will be delivered online via MS Teams. There will be a short test at the end of the course to assess the learning outcomes.

What you need

A computer with an internet connection to access MS Teams. A microphone is essential to fully take part in the class (which could be built into a laptop or headphones) and a webcam is desirable.
