What you will learn

You will learn skills in writing succinctly and editing your work for style and length. You will be writing news reports, features, interviews, opinion pieces and arts reviews. You will learn to research the market and each subject, prepare questions for interviews and write sample articles to pitch for freelance work.

Class format and activities

This class is in centre. You will be reading examples of journalism and discussing these, as well as your own in-class writing in response to prompts and your written homework.
