By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explore, develop and discuss ideas and concepts
  • Explore, develop and discuss themes and analyse characters
  • Explore develop and discuss the distinctive use of language, style and register
  • Discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals i.e.: progression to the next stage

Class format and activities

The course will be delivered face-to-face. The course will be learner-centered and conducted in French, through a variety of communicative activities: debate, class discussion, and presentation. Learners will evaluate and critically interpret texts studied in their context.

Good command of French and English, Interview with tutor online prior to enrolment advisable (contact Department).
