This course is for you if you want to learn about life in the UK and improve your: Reading, writing, speaking and listening in English to help you in your everyday life and work IT skills for basic communication and learning In this course, you will develop speaking and listening, reading and writing skills.
Lessons are currently online using MS Teams or Google Meet. You will work in pairs or small groups or individually. You will have a one-to-one with your tutor to talk about your progress. You will experience range of activities such as listening, role play, reading aloud, writing, quizzes, word searches and other games. You will use YouTube, an interactive whiteboard and computers to help you learn. Everything that you learn will help you in your daily life. Assessment methods: At the end of term, you may be able take a reading exam if you are ready to do so.
There are no entry requirements but you will have an interview.
You will know how to read and write in your own language
You will need a pen and paper, a laptop, tablet or PC and a good internet connection.
