This course is for you if you want to continue studying after completing ESOL Entry 2 and build your confidence in using everyday English. The course will develop your reading, your writing and build your vocabulary. In this course, you will develop reading, speaking and listening and writing skills. Each term includes all four skills but focuses on a specific skill for the exam taken in that term. When you pass each skill, you will receive a certificate for that particular skill. To achieve the full ESOL Entry Level 3 qualification, you must pass Speaking and Listening Entry Level 3, Reading Entry Level 3 and Writing Entry Level 3.
On successful completion of the course, you will achieve the following qualification: Award in ESOL Skills for Life (Reading) (Entry 3) [CG]
You will work in pairs or small groups or individually. You will also have one-to-one discussions with your tutor to talk about your progress. You will experience a wide and varied range of activities such as listening to audio, role-play, reading aloud, writing activities, quizzes, word searches and other games. You will also use digital learning technologies to help you learn. You will have an individual learning plan with targets that are personal to you.
You will take an initial assessment which will determine your current level of English. You may join this course if your assessed level is just below the standards at Entry Level 3.

You may be able to do the course for FREE depending on your personal circumstances. Class time: 6 hours per week Independent study: A minimum of 4 hours per week, including regular practice of what you learn in class and completing any homework. Attendance and Punctuality: Making good progress on the course will depend on regular attendance and punctuality. A minimum of 90% attendance is required from students at Morley College London.
You will need writing materials (a pen, a notebook) and a folder to store materials.
