If you want to improve your English then this course is for you!You have passed your ESOL Entry 2 exams or understand and speak English at an intermediate level. You read and write in your language and use the Roman alphabet. In this class, you will develop your English and prepare for a reading exam.
On successful completion of the course, you will achieve the following qualification: Award in ESOL Skills for Life (Reading) (Entry 3) [CG]
This is an Online Plus course - On-You will experience a wide and varied range of activities such as listening, role play, reading aloud, writing activities, quizzes, word searches and other games as well as using YouTube, interactive whiteboard and computers to help you learn. Good progress throughout your course will depend on good attendance, regular practice of what you learn in class and completing any homework that your tutor will set.
There are no formal entry requirement but you need to do an assessment to check your level and ensure that the course is suitable for you. An ESOL Entry 2 qualification is helpful.
You should be able to read and write in English and hold a conversation. You need to be able to attend your lessons. If you cannot attend a class, you need to inform your teacher beforehand. A minimum attendance of 90% is required.
A folder in which to keep all your class materials, a notebook and pen.
