Introduction to the concepts, terminology, and practice of becoming an effective DJ. Learn how to beatmatch, use EQ, and program a set using vinyl and CD’s. Suitable for beginners. Required for progression to DJ Workshop 2

A strong interest in music Basic knowledge of dance Music and DJing - beginners welcome.
Handling and lifting of audio equipment such as cables, speakers and DJ equipment and consoles are an essential part of this class. Advice on safe handling of equipment will be given at the beginning of the course. Due to the nature of the instruments/content of the course you might be exposed to high volume levels. We strongly encourage everyone to bring a pair of ear plugs to every lesson.
