What you will learn

It's our pleasure to invite you to join us for our annual spring term day of short, FREE dance tasters (running consecutively every twenty minutes: 11:00 - 15.00) and short student dance performances (15.00 - 16.00). Programme Manager for Dance at Morley Waterloo Tim Taylor will host this eclectic day of dance and drama tasters delivered by a wide variety of dance and drama specialists, covering ballet, jazz, contemporary, flamenco, Kathak, tap, and more. Sample as many or as few activities as you like. All the genres on offer to try out are available for study across term-length or shorter course programmes. Round off your day with the pleasure of watching a mixture of short performances prepared for your enjoyment.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Gain an insight into the variety of dance styles available at Morley College Waterloo
Meet other people and share in the the pleasure of dance for exercise and fun
Have a chance to enjoy the performance skills of Morley dance students

Class format and activities

Each separate dance taster, the first of which starts at 11.00, lasts for 20 minutes. Do as many or as few as you want. Student dance performances run between 15.00 and 16.00

Entry requirements

This day of FREE tasters is open to all. As this is a day of practical dance, please consider your fitness level so that you are able to participate safely. Please speak to your dance facilitators leading taster sessions who will be on hand to advise as needed.
