This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the art and techniques of 2D and 3D animation. You will explore the principles of animation, storytelling, and character design. You will learn how to bring your creative visions to life using industry-standard software. Through hands-on projects and critiques, you will develop your skills in both 2D and 3D animation, gaining the skills necessary to create captivating animations.
Students will engage in practical exercises to create their own 2D and 3D animations. They will also participate in critique sessions where they present their animations to the class and receive constructive feedback. Students will develop the technical skills through a series of workshops focused on industry-standard animation software.
No formal entry requirements. However basic drawing skills and access to a computer at home helps.
To get the most out of the course you will need to do additional study/practice outside of your lessons.
