What you will learn

Are you a fan of Italian crime fiction? Join us and further develop your skills and confidence in Italian through the works of Carlo Lucarelli, one of the most popular contemporary Italian crime fiction authors. Together, we will read and enjoy the adventures of the clumsy Inspector Coliandro and his brilliant young partner Nikita. This course will also give us the opportunity to discuss and deepen our understanding of certain aspects of Italian society and culture.

Class format and activities

Typical activities include reading and analysing texts written in Italian, listening to and comprehending short videos in original language, commenting on topics related to Italian society and culture, group discussions, alongside occasional grammar revision and attention to various linguistic aspects. To ensure you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular constructive and supportive feedback from your tutor.
