What you will learn

In this short course you will learn how to frame and quickly capture amazing photographs from landscape to documentary and architecture, using your mobile (smartphone). You will explore light, composition and perspective in different locations in London and you will start thinking as a photographer capturing images in a creative and fun way. Our enthusiastic tutor will share simple ideas and will offer loads of inspiring tips. Between sessions you will be set a task, so as to practice the learnt skills. You will discuss your photographs and get feedback from the tutor and peers. By the end of the course, you will be confident with advanced composition and will be using skills that will make your photos stand out from crowd.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Use your smartphone creatively
  • Produce a good range of well composed photos
  • Photograph different subjects using different perspectives and angles of view

You will learn actively and practice the demonstrated skills during the sessions; you will continuously be supported by the tutor.

What you need to know before you enrol

For the first session you will be in Morley college Chelsea centre. The tutor will inform you where to meet for the second session, which will be a location in central London
