Explore the potential of pulp and handmade paper on this five day papermaking course and nurture individual responses to this versatile medium. You will make paper traditionally using professional equipment before applying a range of accessible techniques influenced by examples of Japanese paper and other contemporary approaches.
The tutor will bring in and discuss relevant examples and demonstrate techniques. You will practice the techniques with observation and feedback. There will be an emphasis on sharing knowledge and experience through discussion, and group critique.
Open to all levels
