Class format and activities
Teaching is both on a group and individual basis with technical advice in a specialist studio with a dye garden on site. The tutor will give demonstrations, presentations and lead group discussions around the historical and contemporary use of natural dyeing. By the end of the course everyone will have a range of naturally dyed fabric swatches together with notes for techniques to give them confidence to try their own natural dyeing projects.

What you need to know before you enrol
This course is on the second floor of the Nancy Seear Building on King Edwards Walk. There is lift access to the first floor only. Good mobility required for stairs to studio and garden.

A beautiful sketchbook/presentation book to document your work, pen, rubber gloves and apron.
