What you will learn

Learn to play tunes, improvise and understand basic music theory. Suitable for players with a term's experience.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Have started to bend notes
Play in different keys (positions) on the harmonica
Improvise in a blues style
Use hands to change the sound
Know the layout of notes on the harmonica
An understanding of music theory relevant to the harmonica

Completion of harmonica 1A. Online enrolment on term 2 of this course is only available to those enrolled in the previous term. What you need to know before you enrol

Due to the nature of the instruments/content of the course you might be exposed to high volume levels. We strongly encourage everyone to bring a pair of ear plugs to every lesson.
