What you will learn

If you are unsure about whether you are ready for the demands and challenges of Further Education or you do not yet have the qualifications to start on a Level 1 programme, this course may provide the solution by smoothly transitioning you into full-time education. This is a programme designed to develop your skills and confidence and prepare you for further education. Learners will engage with a range of exciting modules that will prepare them for further study.

Class format and activities

The course is made up of a variety of modules with a focus on practical assessments. You will be assessed by completing a series of modules that will build confidence and experience.

Entry requirements

An interview with a member of staff from the Access to FE team. Students will be expected to commit to the course and display good attendance & punctuality.

Students on this programme will be required to continue their study of English and Maths alongside this qualification.

You should arrive to your lessons prepared to learn with pens, pencils and a writing pad. All other resources and materials you need will be provided.
