What you will learn

This is a one-week hands-on course that will take you through the process of composing, recording and mixing a track from scratch. You will start off by learning how to write chord sequences, bass lines, melodies and drum patterns for various genres. Next, you will use a professional-standard recording studio and learn how to record live drums and vocal tracks that can be added to your project. There may be the opportunity to record other instruments on request! Once the recordings are done, you will be shown how to edit and mix them properly using various techniques and effects. Finally, you will export your finished mixes, as well as stems you could pass on to a professional mix engineer or remixer.
