Build on the foundation of your first term of language learning by enhancing your ability to communicate in everyday situations, such as shopping, using services, exchanging phone numbers, and expressing likes and dislikes. Develop practical skills to effectively convey your message. This course is ideal for those looking to strengthen and consolidate their understanding of the language's basics.
Practicing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills Learning through practical activities (individual tasks, role-plays, pair, and small group work, games,) Writing basic single words and short sentences, e.g. gap-filling, grammar exercises Following and giving simple presentations Listening for the gist or basic information Revising topics (e.g. vocabulary) and grammar points.
We recommend completing Arabic Stage 1 Term 1 or 20-24 hours of study before enrolling for this course. If you are not sure of your level, contact the Languages department and we will be happy to advise on the most suitable course for you.
Excellent attendance and punctuality are required from all students.
If required, a course book will be negotiated at the start of the term. This course requires study/completion of activities outside of class time. The course is in-person.
