Thursday
There are other versions of this course available. We’ve listed them below and summarized the differences between the one that you are currently viewing.
These Exploring Printmaking (Thursday-all day) Courses at Morley College London at the Chelsea Centre will provide an opportunity to explore the potential and possibilities of conventional printmaking mediums, such as monoprint, drypoint, etching, aquatint, etc.
You will learn to work in the light and well-equipped studio with specialist facilities, and develop ideas and imagery into a portfolio of creative prints. To ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor. Final prints can be submitted for our Exhibition in July when we enjoy a lively Private View to celebrate the work created during the year on all our courses.
Beginners welcome.
The Printmaking Studio is at the Morley College London Chelsea Centre, Hortensia Road SW10 0QS, just off the Kings Road and Fulham Road, in the Carlyle building, room CG05 on the ground floor.
You need to bring some art equipment such as pencils, eraser, stanley/craft knife, washing up gloves and apron. There is a studio fee of £30.00 payable to the tutor which covers basic materials, except paper and plates which you pay extra for as you use them. All materials are available to buy in the studio. If you have further questions about the course, the tutor Ali Yanya can be contacted at: ali.yanya@morleycollege.ac.uk
