Suitable for those with over two year's playing experience in folk, rock, blues and pop styles (preferably having attended Acoustic Guitar 1 & 2). Further develop your Plectrum style repertoire applying the skills acquired in Acoustic Guitar level 2, to dedicated Plectrum style song arrangements. This course is a continuation from Acoustic Guitar 2 and therefore requires tutor approval and you are unable to enrol for it online. Please enquire for guidance on how you can get approval.

To have ideally completed Acoustic Guitar 3A or have equivalent playing experience at that level. Prior to this course students will have successfully applied barre chords and now in a position where they are looking to increase their chord library and understand the concept of movable barre chords. Students should have previously played Travis style finger picking; have previously attempted left-hand articulations: - hammer, pull off, and slides; and should be able to read guitar tab and rhythm representation (or willing to engage in additional study to achieve required level).
You will need to be willing and able to do short, regular practice sessions between classes: at least 10–15 minutes, at least 4 times a week.
