Suitable for those with over a year's playing experience in folk and pop styles (preferably having attended Acoustic Guitar 2A). Further develop your barre chords, strumming and picking skills, and ability to read music notation. This course is a continuation from Acoustic Guitar 2A and therefore requires tutor approval and you are unable to enrol for it online. Please enquire for guidance on how you can get approval.

To have ideally completed Acoustic Guitar 2A or have equivalent playing experience at that level. Prior to this course students will have successfully played open major, minor and 7th chords and are currently in a position where they are looking to increase their chord library. Students should have previously played arpeggio style finger picking; have previously attempted left-hand articulations: - hammer, pull off, and slides; should be able to read guitar tab and 16th note rhythm representation (or willing to engage in additional study to achieve required level).
You will need to be willing and able to do short, regular practice sessions between classes: at least 15-20 minutes, at least 4 times a week.
