This course is to help you get prepared for ESOL level 1 and gives you the skills for work to help support your employment.

Listen and signal understanding through making relevant contributions in group discussions
Plan, prepare and deliver an oral presentation on a topic of your choice
Develop your vocabulary through reading a wider variety of texts. Use context to guess the meaning of unfamiliar vocabulary.
Use context and other textual clues to guess the meaning of unfamiliar vocabulary.
Revise grammar and tenses for Entry 3 and Level 1.
Proofread and check texts for correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
