Financial support
Morley College London will be able to offer a bursary for higher education students from academic year 2025-26. This could help with your living costs and additional study expenses, such as course equipment and materials.
Criteria:
Home fee status
Tuition fees of £7,995 or £7,200 Full Time and £4195 Part Time
Household income of £25,000
There will be 46 bursaries of £500 for full time students, and 12 of £250 for part time students
The applications will open in September 2025.
Higher Education Hardship and Inclusion Bursary. This bursary will be for students facing a short-term financial problem
Criteria:
Home fee status
Tuition fees of £7,995 or £7,200 Full Time and £4195 Part Time
Taken out the full funding available through Student Finance England (or Wales) or a household income of £30,000 or below
It will be up to £500 for full time students, and £250 for part time students
Maintenance Loans
Eligible students are able to apply for Maintenance loans on our Higher Education Courses. Students should apply directly to Student Finance England for the loans and should apply as early as possible to ensure that the appropriate funding is in place at the start of the course.
Maintenance loan payments are paid directly to the student from the Student Loans Company, and Morley will process appropriate attendance data to the Student Loans Company to facilitate payments.

Travel Support
Transport for London (TFL) –
As a Higher Education student, if you live in a London borough you can get discounted travel with an 18+ Student Oyster photo card. Please apply through the TFL website: https://tfl.gov.uk/fares/free-and-discounted-travel/18-plus-student-oyster-photocard
National Rail –
Aged 16-25 or a Higher Education student aged 26 or over you can save 1/3 on standard class rail fares throughout Great Britain. A 16-25 Railcard costs £30 and it’ll save you 1/3 on rail fares throughout Great Britain for a whole year. Please apply via https://www.16-25railcard.co.uk
