Nowhere are The Artists of Morley better showcased than across the many end-of-year shows on display across the college’s three centres.
From fashion to fine art, photography to millinery, interior design to sculpture, this year’s shows serve as a reminder that great artistry inspires us all.
Beyond the Palette: 9 to 29 June
The final exhibition of this year’s Advanced Painting course, taught by Steve Wright.
A lively and varied exhibition of contemporary paintings that extend beyond the confines of technique and genre, into personal and playful responses to a wide range of subjects and ideas.
Adorn: 9 June to 4 July
Featuring the work of our Level 2 jewellery certificate students in preparation for running a professional jewellery business.
Working in the studios at our Waterloo Centre, the goldsmiths have developed their skills and personal styles, learning new techniques and gaining confidence in their own artistry. This show features examples of unique work made during the year.
The De Beers Group Scholarship Show: 9 June to 4 July
Featuring the work of our Intermediate Level De Beers Group scholars Angela Benjamin and Zita Abila who have been generously funded by the De Beers Group to develop their jewellery skills and their business.
Zsuszi Roboz show: 13 July
This exhibition features the work of the 2022 to 23 recipients of the Zsuzsi Roboz Scholarship, Lauren Goldie and Eimhin Moran.
Lauren’s work explores the 22,000 littered man-made objects orbiting outer space. The interim exhibit for the 2022 to 23 Zsuzsi Roboz Residency examines their discarded nature, the danger they pose when falling from the sky and the monuments they create when they land.
For the 2022 to 23 ZR Scholarship, Eimhin explores the ‘roundrect’ as a symbol of the sterility and standardisation of our physical and digital landscapes. Using the ‘roundrect’ as background motif to the work, Eimhin questions whether the structure of our built environments can influence our worldview and behaviour.
Down 2 Earth, HND Ceramics Diploma exhibition: 20 to 24 June
At Morley, we encourage diversity. We offer a pathway which contrasts with larger universities, offering small class sizes and benefitting from excellent tutor to student ratios with ample workshop facilities and space to develop creativity.
While staffing the exhibition our graduates will be happy to discuss their ceramics, share their HND experiences and creative career paths.

Photology 23: 23 to 25 June
Photology 2023 celebrates the work of Morley’s HNC/HND/BA top-up Photography students. An exhibition of inspiring photographic work that represents thought-provoking ideas and reflects on the students’ determination to navigate both digital and analogue landscapes, as they bring fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to creative communications.
The exhibition is part of Free Range, a collection of graduate photography exhibitions in the Truman Brewer.
Fashion showcase: 22 June
Join us to celebrate the Waterloo Centre’s Fashion graduates of 2023. Through our niche delivery model, Fashion diploma and degree students have continued to refine their practice this year through an exploration of key questions related to the future of fashion, fusing conceptual design with innovative processes to create their final collections.

Textiles End of Year Shows: 27 June to 1 July
Textile Foundation, Level 3, 2022-23
A culmination of the yearlong Textile Foundation course. This group of Artists, Designers and Makers, work independently to explore personal projects and interests to build upon their personal practice. A wide range of textiles processes and materials are employed to interrogate ideas. Specialist tutors support learning across the year to deepen and expand skills and creative thinking.
Intermediate and Advanced Textile Practice Group show
A showcase of works made across this academic year with focus on creative development and professional practice. Some works on show are made in response to the rich historical collection of the Cumings Musuem, Southwark, while others continued to explore individual practices
Look Both Ways: 11 to 15 July
Welcome to the UAL Foundation Diploma in Art & Design End of Year Show 2023. This remarkable exhibition is the culmination of a year’s exploration of different artistic disciplines by our Foundation Diploma Students.
All 14 artists have developed their practice while working together across different media to articulate their individual vision. This unique 19+ Foundation Diploma in Art & Design is validated by the University of the Arts London (UAL) Awarding Body and has been running at Morley College London since 2011.
