ESD Toolkit
Morley College London led a project in early 2023 to develop new resources for teachers to support them to deliver in every subject area the skills that will enable individuals to address the climate emergency.
Speaking about the motivation behind the toolkit, Morley’s Gerald Jones said: “Right now, the most important transformation educators can help bring about is an understanding of the climate crisis, and what we – as teachers and students – can do to halt and even reverse this crisis.”
Carbon Literacy Training
Our carbon literacy training project for all our 16-18 year old students is a crucial step in enhancing climate change awareness and sustainability. In partnership with the Local Skills Investment Fund, this initiative aims to deepen students’ understanding of carbon emissions and their environmental impacts while equipping them with practical skills to lower their carbon footprints. This project aligns with our commitment to sustainability and our pledge to foster environmental responsibility among the younger generation, supporting a more sustainable future for all.
