Viola da gamba: Ibrahim Aziz
Ibrahim (Ibi) Aziz is a viola da gamba player and performs a wide range of music, old and new on his instrument. A member of the viol ensemble Chelys, he also appears regularly with The Rose Consort of Viols and works a solo artist with other groups and orchestras in the UK and abroad. He recently performed with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra in Dublin and will perform two concertos with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra next month. He has recorded on the BIS, Delphian and Signum labels and has two highly acclaimed solo albums on First Hand Records.
