About the Role

Our People Operations Team are committed to service improvement and we have ambitious plans for 2024 / 25 which should make a step change in the transformation of our service.

To support that improvement, we are looking for a 1 year FTC Head of HR Improvement who will focus on coaching the People Operations team to embed process and procedures, building skills, confidence and understanding of the legal and good practice requirements in particular on employee relations matters and customer service. Working to the Chief People Officer, they will be responsible for refreshing all HR policies and practices, ensuring processes are documented, efficient, legally compliant, and aligned with best practice.

You will be an experienced HR practitioner, skilled at dealing with complex people matters and adept at designing effective, customer centred processes that aim to resolve matters quickly and smoothly.

Working in parallel with a project to replace our HR Information System, you will be comfortable providing both short term fixes and longer term solutions and will drive service excellence through supporting team colleagues as they develop.
