Lunchtime Concert: Women plus one

The Advanced Chamber music class present a programme featuring mostly women composers from the 19th and 20th centuries. Highlights are two rarely played cello sonatas by Dame Ethel Smyth and Melanie Bonis, works by contemporary British composers Eleanor Alberga and Ruth Gipps for clarinet and alto flute respectively, and music by Clara Schumann, Cecile Chaminade and Muczyncki.
