Performance and Q&A with Cara and Sophie
Join us for this comedy short play, devised and performed by Morley tutor and artist-in-residence Cara Jennings, and writing/performance partner Sophie Trott.
“Trott and Jennings bring Kitty Clive and Peg Woffington, anarchic stars of the 18thcentury London stage, to life, showing them as they’ve never been seen before. Kitty and Peg have been massive stars. Will these self-made writer, performer, activists from London and Dublin step aside to make room for new talent? Or will they spread fake-news, stage a fight, and inadvertently poison a colleague? Based on real characters, real events, and a lot of imagined, farcical, almost plausible action.”
