A Week in Waterloo
…
May 2022 is officially Waterloo focus month, part of Morley’s wider X of Morley campaign, which aims to shine a light on the amazing variety of what Morley has to offer. It follows similar promotional focus months in North Kensington in February and Chelsea in March.
First dibs on our Summer Shorts programme, which launched on 3 May. Discover your passion on one of our summer short courses…from a single day to one or two weeks, courses are designed to give you a flavour of Morley’s wonderfully rich choice of courses in humanities, languages, arts, music and more.
On 25 May, our friends and longtime colleagues at We Are Waterloo will stage a live takeover of Morley Radio: listen in to www.morleyradio.co.uk from 10am on Wednesday 25 May.
Two Penny Lectures (both free to attend) will place at Waterloo:
The second part of Morley Gallery exhibition MADE, featuring works by drawing, painting and ceramics students (hot on the heels of part one, which featured works by textiles and jewellery students) will launch in mid-May.
We’ll also see the return of London Craft Week and The Sounds of Morley, great opportunities to get a feel for Morley’s expertise in the arts – both visual and performed.
There’s so much going on, we’ve created a Google story to help you keep track. Click below and check back often as we update the evolving programme.
Last week we announced a project that we hope will lead to the modernisation of our performance spaces at Waterloo, including the historic Emma Cons Hall. Watch the video below.
